Accidental Artist (2003)
It’s been ten years since I finished high school. This was my major art project, it follows the main character Wes as he inadvertently creates are while searching for his remote.
The message I was trying to convey is that art doesn’t require that much effort to produce and anybody is able to make are whether they realise it or not.
This animation ended up being part of Art Express 2003 and was shown in galleries across Australia.
It’s been a while since I’ve uploaded anything to my YouTube channel so I made this to fill the void.
Every year, Music: Count Us In has hundreds of thousands of school children perform the same song, on the same day, at the same time. Each year’s song is created by high school students in mentored songwriting and recording sessions. In 2013 the mentor for the song, Keep On, was Katie Noonan.
I was commissioned by A.R.I.A (Australian Record Industry of Australia) to conceive, storyboard, animate and direct a music video for the song.
As part of my university application; I was required me to create a 10 panel comic based on the theme ‘duplicate' without using any words or symbols.
This is what I ended up with. I always enjoy making comics, I must plan to do more in the future.
A friend a mine is completing his Honours in Graphic Design. He commissioned me to create this short animation as part of his final project.

I recently got approached by the guys at Happy Hour to make a short animation about “What happens to video game characters when they die? ” The result is featured in the first episode of Media Overload Billion.
Skip to 2:55 for my bit.
Very Badly Animated Man (1997)
This is the very first animation I ever made. I was 11 years old at the time. During 6th grade, my school had a fete to raise money. I set up a screening of this movie plus two others in the library and charged admission to see them and I ended up raising the most money.
The other two episodes are unfortunately lost to the ages. Although I did “animate” a remake in 2008. You can check that out by clicking here.
Use My Force as performed by Cadix vs. Yoda.
This song was made by a couple of friends of mine back in 2003. Since then, I had attempted to animate a music video for it twice and stopping because I either lost interest or my skills weren’t good enough. I decided to give it another go and I’m really proud of how it came out. It is probably my best work to date.
